Thanks to the community’s overwhelming support and the success of Angie’s Kitchen, we have decided to expand our efforts and build a permanent home for the kitchen as part of the future Dawkins Community Center. The community center will include an administration office, 100-person cafeteria, medical clinic, laundry room, showers, and playground. With your support and the diligent work of Krause Auto and Reverend Dr. Clifton Dawkins, we anticipate that the Dawkins Community Center will be open to serve the community in Fall 2023.
Serving our West-Atlanta neighbors in need to help transform lives and communities
To restore lives one meal, one person, and one community at a time.
The Dawkins Community Center is the vision of Reverend Dr. Clifton Dawkins. Driven by a family motto, “We should do all we can while we can, because when we can’t, how can we? “, the new center aims to address the basic needs of individuals, families, and children in West Atlanta.
The outreach efforts of the Center and Pastor Dawkins bring together community members full of compassion and love for their community to help serve those in need without judgment and with an open heart.
Reverend Dr. Dawkins is a true pillar of the community. He serves as Chaplain Director for Fulton County and Lead Pastor of True Worship Christian Fellowship Church, where his ministry in addition to preaching the gospel has included feeding the homeless population in the downtown area for over 10 years.
